Special Event for Crowdfunding Campaign

Join us for a special evening as Thandi Mweetwa shares with us her efforts (with the Zambian Carnivore Programme ) to conserve African wildlife and the fight against poaching. She will give a presentation on her work in Zambia with time for Q&A at the end. 

This presentation is part of Dsenyo's crowdfunding campaign to expand our snare wire jewelry collection and to continue building awareness for the poaching crisis.

Lights appetizers and drinks will be provided.  Open to the public.

Thandiwe Mweetwa, Zambian Carnivore Programme 

Thandiwe Mweetwa, a Zambia native, is a member of the ZCP (Zambia Carnivore Programme) team.  She is the recipient of several educational scholarships and has distinguished herself as a top student. With a B.S. from the University of British Columbia she was recognized with the International Student Humanitarian Award. Thandi is now a graduate student at the University of Arizona. She splits her time between course work at the university and field research in Zambia studying the effects of snare wire poaching and rehabilitation among the lion population.
