Dsenyo is a social enterprise working directly with artisan communities in Malawi, Zambia, and Brazil enabling women to become economically empowered through the sale of fair trade gifts and ethical fashion. We believe responsible business can be a powerful source for social and economic change.
After living in Malawi, Marissa Perry Saints founded Dsenyo in 2009 to create opportunities and celebrate local design. Since then, we have expanded our reach and currently provide employment opportunities and annual training to 100 artisans across three countries who inspire further change in their communities.
By connecting artisans to the global marketplace and sharing their personal, authentic stories of social impact, we are building a global tribe of artisans, entrepreneurs, and individuals who care about sustainability and style. Dsenyo is committed to fair trade principles and provides artisans and customers with the resources to build a better world.
